Position Overview:
Board-Certified Urologists
VA Urology Physician Services – Lebanon VA Medical Center (PA)
The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking Board-Certified Urologists for a 5-year IDIQ contract to provide fully onsite urology services at the Lebanon VAMC and four affiliated outpatient clinics.

Lebanon, Pennsylvania + 4 Community-Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs)
1700 S Lincoln Ave, Lebanon, PA 17042
Coverage: Minimum 2.0+ FTE daily with 24/7 on-call
Contract Type: 5-Year IDIQ (July 2026 – June 2031)
Schedule:
Clinic Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
24/7 On-Call Coverage Required (weekday, weekend, and holidays)
Scope: Clinic care, inpatient consults, and surgical procedures

Staffing Requirements:
Minimum of 3 Board-Certified Urologists
Daily coverage requirement: 2.0+ FTE onsite
Must support:
Outpatient clinic services
Inpatient consults and admissions
Surgical procedures
Continuous on-call coverage

Required Qualifications:
  • Board Certification in Urology (e.g., ABU or equivalent)
  • Active, unrestricted U.S. medical license
  • Current BLS certification
  • Eligible for VA credentialing and privileging
Specialized Requirements
(2) Urologists must be DaVinci robotic trained, including:
  • Robotic and open surgical capability
  • Completion of robotic training and case requirements
(1) Urologist must be a Fellowship-Trained Female Urology Specialist, with expertise in:
  • Female pelvic medicine
  • Urinary incontinence and prolapse procedures
  • Complex urodynamics and reconstructive procedures

Scope of Services
  • Providers will deliver a full range of urology services consistent with national standards, including:
  • Outpatient medical and surgical urology
  • Inpatient consultations and admissions
  • Advanced surgical procedures (robotic and open), including:
  • Nephrectomy, prostatectomy, cystectomy
  • Endourology procedures
  • Urodynamics and men’s/women's health treatments
  • Participation in call rotation:
  • Weekday, weekend, and holiday coverage
  • Call-back support as needed

Additional Requirements
  • Meet all VA training, compliance, and credentialing standards
  • Maintain:
  • DEA registration
  • NPI number
  • Continuing Medical Education (CME)
  • Provide:
  • Case logs (last 24 months)
  • Patient outcomes data (if requested)
  • Ability to respond within VA-required timeframes for on-call duties
