RieLes Group is seeking a Plastic Surgeon to provide on-site support to the Lt. Col. Luke Weathers, Jr. VA Medical Center team at Memphis, TN. The Lt. Col. Luke Weathers, Jr. VA Medical Center in Memphis, Tennessee, is a top-tier, full-service VA hospital that provides advanced medical care to veterans across Tennessee, Arkansas, and Mississippi. As a Clinical Referral Level I-a teaching hospital, it offers a wide range of services including primary, specialty, surgical, and mental health care, as well as a dedicated spinal cord injury center and women’s health services. The facility is supported by nine community-based outpatient clinics and features a Fisher House that offers free lodging for families of hospitalized veterans. Position Title: Plastic Surgery Physician
Location: Lt. Col. Luke Weathers, Jr. VA Medical Center

Contract: 5-Year 
Period of Performance: October 1, 2025 – September 30, 2030
Schedule: Onsite (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM) with on-call duties (evenings, weekends, holidays)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Plastic Surgery Physician to deliver onsite and on-call services to veterans at the Memphis VA Medical Center. The scope of care must reflect modern surgical practices equivalent to those found in a top-tier civilian facility and meet national standards set by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide inpatient and outpatient plastic surgery consultations and procedures
  • Perform reconstructive surgeries, wound management, grafting, flaps, and other medically indicated cosmetic procedures
  • Participate in pre-operative and post-operative care, including documentation and follow-up
  • Engage in multidisciplinary team collaboration and case review
  • Provide on-call coverage and emergency procedures as needed

Qualifications:
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS)
  • Active, unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state or territory
  • Current BLS/ACLS certifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in plastic surgery preferred
  • Must be eligible for VA credentialing and privileging
