Description
Are you a Personal Care Assistant seeking a new opportunity?  If so, RieLes Group has the perfect opportunity for you.  We are seeking a Personal Care Assistant to join our team and provide services to a disabled employee of The Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System.  

Specific duties include but may not be limited to: 
  • Personal hygiene, including bathing, grooming, using the toilet, and dressing.
  • Transferring to and from mobility devices like walkers and wheelchairs.
  • Helping with tasks like bending, sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Supporting with reaching, holding, lifting, and similar tasks.
  • Preparing meals and assisting with eating.
  • Helping with exercises prescribed by a health professional.
  • Keeping the environment clean and organized.
  • Monitoring and managing medical supplies and urinary drainage devices as directed.
  • Checking blood pressure, blood sugar, body positioning, and wounds.
  • Helping with opening medication bottles.
  • Assisting in emergencies, such as giving first aid, performing CPR, helping with evacuation, and calling for emergency help.
  • Assist in personal care tasks that may include:
  • Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling, and sometimes running.
  • Regularly lifting individuals and equipment.
  • Helping individuals transfer to and from mobility devices.
  • Assisting with tasks like opening doors, pressing buttons, packing, carrying, and moving items
  • Provide administrative support, including document handling, assisting with paperwork, setting up equipment, and general task assistance.
Qualifications: 
  • Associates degree or higher required, bachelor’s degree or certification preferred
  • At least 1 year of experience working with people with disabilities or in a medical environment
  • Ability to learn new tasks and follow verbal instructions with accuracy
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, and respond quickly to emergency situations
  • With positive and helpful attitude
