RieLes Group is seeking a highly experienced Occupational Medicine Physician with demonstrated leadership experience as a Medical Director, Occupational Health Director, Program Manager, or Medical Program Administrator to support OSHA's Office of Occupational Medicine and Nursing (OOMN)

Position Overview
This role is ideal for physicians who can provide both clinical occupational medicine expertise and program leadership/management support, allowing them to fulfill physician responsibilities while contributing to contract and program oversight functions. The contractor will support OSHA's Medical Examination Program (OMEP), review medical surveillance examinations, determine fitness-for-duty status for OSHA personnel, and provide consultation on enforcement-related occupational health matters

Work is performed remotely utilizing Government-Furnished Equipment (GFE) and secure DOL network access

Full-Time Occupational Medicine Physician
Location: Remote (Washington, DC-based federal program)
Schedule: Full-Time, up to 40 hours/week
Shift: Monday–Friday, flexible between 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM ET
Estimated Hours: 2,080 annually

Responsibilities:
Review OSHA Medical Examination Program (OMEP) fitness-for-duty and medical surveillance examinations
Determine employee medical clearance status
Request and review additional medical records when necessary
Draft medical opinions and clearance determinations
Support OSHA enforcement activities by reviewing case files and drafting occupational health reports
Participate in OOMN and OMEP meetings

Requirements:
MD or DO with an active U.S. license
Board Certified in Occupational & Environmental Medicine or Preventive Medicine specialty
Experience with fitness-for-duty and medical surveillance evaluations
Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
Federal Occupational Health Physicians
Candidates comfortable working on Eastern Time business hours

Preferred:
Medical Director
Occupational Health Director
Occupational Medicine Program Manager
Federal occupational health experience

Ideal Candidate:
An experienced Occupational Medicine Physician with Medical Director, Occupational Health Director, or Program Manager experience who can perform both the Full-Time Physician role and the Contract/Project Manager responsibilities, providing clinical leadership and contract oversight under a single resource
